America's struggles over education, postal service offer lessons for Canada and Other Countries: Conrad Black


From the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic the Democrats have seen their chances of electoral victory come to depend on a prolonged economic shutdown and massive job layoffs, in order to exploit voter discontent and portray Trump as effectively the Herbert Hoover of the 21st century. The national political media have effectively been Trump’s real campaign opponent since the Democratic nominee, Joe Biden, rarely departs his basement. 

The media have carried the ball and have applied their considerable energies to terrorizing the public about the virus and exaggerating its danger to all sections of the population (it is highly lethal among the elderly, but less dangerous to non-seniors).

The teachers’ unions, long joined-at-the-hip allies of the Democratic party, have solemnly announced that they will not return to the classroom until the virus has subsided completely (by which they mean the day after the election if Biden wins). 

Since elementary school students are in almost no danger of a fatal affliction, and it is believed that children do not transmit the virus as easily to adults, and the great majority of teachers do not have diminished immune systems and are not above the age of 60, with elemental precautions, there is minimal danger of serious problems. 

The president says that those states that do not at least partially return to in-person schooling will become ineligible for federal education assistance, which will instead be directed to private, charter or separate schools, or even neighbourhood home-schooling.

 It is one of the great ironies of modern times in all advanced Western countries that we invest more and more every year in our public education systems, to receive what all objective testing indicates are less and less knowledgeable graduates. 

The U.S. Republican party, President Trump himself and Education Secretary Betsy DeVos have all said throughout the last four years that they would make unprecedented efforts to reverse the decline in educational standards in the United States, which they hold to be uncompetitive with other advanced countries.

It is notorious that education standards have declined and addressing this problem is invariably obstructed by teachers’ unions. Therefore, schools that are better workplace environments, such as private schools and even, up to a point, separate schools, have generally better results.

If the Trump administration is re-elected, it is already well-initiated drive to emphasize schools that will produce more internationally competitive graduates will be reinforced and accelerated. 

While teachers’ unions in the U.S. naturally claim that their only interest is the education and safety of the students, public impatience with their avarice and widespread incompetence has severely damaged their credibility. In the United States and other countries, parents are concerned about this trend and irritated as taxpayers.

Many schools are little better than daycare centres for the slender amount of learning they impart, and apparently, that condition is even worse in many American school districts. To be fair, it is undoubtedly more difficult to educate children who are so thoroughly distracted by modern technological devices that do a great deal of deduction and composition, and almost all physical writing and calculation, for them. 

But in the end, there is no greater contributor to the competitive status of any country and therefore to its ability to prosper and flourish than the quality of its education. Leaving out all the many other issues that have arisen during this election in the United States, this is a policy conflict that could other countries a good deal of guidance in the practicality and benefit of imposing drastic reforms in our school systems.

At the same time, the Trump administration has become so exasperated with the cost, slothfulness and often highly anti-American slant of university education, that it is slowly turning the fiscal screws to require post-secondary schools to achieve greater standards of efficiency and higher standards of diversity of intellectual, sociological and political perspectives. 

There is no suggestion of dictating curriculum, but there is clearly a powerful and vocal ambition to require that universities, as was for centuries their raison d’être, expose students neutrally to a variety of viewpoints, instead of hatred of every aspect of American life and history: sausage factories of unpatriotic bigotry and narrow-mindedness.

 The U.S. Post Office is being dragged into this election because of the Democrats’ desire to promote mail-in votes, in which everyone on the state’s register would be sent a ballot, and voters would be invited to mail back their ballots. Many of those states have no history of conducting free and fair elections by mail, potentially leaving them prone to error and fraud and the accuracy of their voter registration lists can vary wildly.

There is also the issue of huge numbers of ballots getting into the hands of political organizations that return substantial numbers of fraudulent ballots in their own interest. In addition to this mutation of the process, which is called ballot-harvesting, the post office is in no condition to deal with the requirement to mail out and promptly manage the return of up to 100 million votes.

Apart from assuring the absence of a monstrous fraud at the polls, the administration is, in fact, trying to improve the efficiency of the postal service. If it succeeds, that could give other countries useful information about how to deal with the deterioration of our own postal services.

Elections, no matter how chaotic, can sometimes be illuminating.

Kamala Harris, Candidate for Vice President - A Profile of Corruption

Kamala Harris, whose father was a Jamaican and her mother from Indian, could be referred to as a portage of Willie Brown when it comes to her political career. How KH has leveraged her political power along the way is more than just troubling.  

Harris’s elevation to national politics is closely tied to one of California’s most allegedly corrupt political machine and investigations into her tenure as a prosecutor has raised disturbing questions her use of criminal statutes in a highly selective manner, presumably to protect her friends, financial partners, donors and supporters.

Most disturbing, Kamala Harris has covered up information concerning major allegations of criminal conduct, including some involving CHILD MOLESTATION.

Further Harris took campaign contributions from slumlords with cases before her office. Her donors included hotel owners citied by city officials, in San Francisco, as a city nuisance, because of the numerous arrests for drug activities, assault, rape, robbery and burglary. As a Vice President candidate of Joe Biden Harris now supports Defunding the Police, Go figure!

If you read the book “Profiles in Corruption” by Peter Schweizer one can easily see that Kamala Harris’s ethical problems, go far beyond simply financial questions.

Perhaps the deepest and most troubling mystery of Kamala Harris’s tenure as a California prosecutor centres on the disturbing issue of sexual abuse of children by priests. Harris’s handling of the widespread priest abuse scandal in San Francisco and later in the entire state of California raises far more questions about her ability to uphold the laws of America, which she was sworn to obey and uphold. As during Harris’s decade-and-a-half tenure as a chief persecutor Kamala Harris FAILED to PROSECUTE a SINGLE CASE of PRIEST ABUSE and her office HIDE VITAL Records on abuse that had occurred despite the protests of many victims groups.

Kamala Harris’s blind eye to priest sexual abuse was just part of a pattern of favoritism that has continually permeated Harris’s career as a prosecutor. Her actions represent the ultimate form of leveraging power in the criminal justice realm-deciding NOT to Pursue Criminal Charges.

In other matters involving her “Back on Track” initiative which was fraught with numerous problems that Harris hopes the public would and will ignore about her mismanagement and cronyism, #IMHOPEOPLE

The problem with this so-called job training program that Harris enrolled illegal immigrants and violent criminals such as Alexander Izaguirre was that these illegals could not legally hold because of their illegal immigration status.

Harris could not and has never offered an explanation. Instead, she simply explained that ”enforcing federal immigration laws was not her job.”  Never mind that HER OATH of OFFICE REQUIRED Her to Enforce the laws of the state and to protect and defend the Constitution of the USA.

Kamal Harris, now Joe Bidens pick for a running mate as Vice |President has and shall continue to use any and all political power as either a prosecutor or candidate to continue leveraging her rise to power by protecting corrupt allies, donors and friends #IMHOPEOPLE as a leper does not change is stripes. And sometimes leverage is exercised through the proxy of family. Just ask Joe Biden about that one!

Slogan Black Lives Matter Its Roots

Black Lives Matter, is a divisive, segregationist, and Marxist organization based on fascist ideology and Nazism as it presupposes a master race “Black” to dominate all others in life. Further, it embodies hate and bullying. rioting, and looting based on mob rule mentality which has been clearly documented over the past few months especially.

Further, the slogan alone precisely refers to ONLY one race-Black.

Those organizations, corporations and politicians who support, donate and kneel or salute to this group obviously support dividing humans and our lives into ethnic, racial and gender groups, which history has shown us over centuries, represents one of the greatest threats to civil unity, order, peace, and justice.

If we are honestly concerned about lives, race and humanity, then the slogan and organization would have been #LIVESMATTER

As we, as individuals or a community, lose all to atheists, anarchists and radical elements of tribalism of division, and mob rule when any group or race be it Black, White, Yellow, Pink, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transvestites or whatever attempt to presuppose that they are a master race #IMHOPEOPLE.

Update: Black Lives Matter is a Marxist organization

“Black Lives Matter” is a Marxist organization. This is no secret. One has only to do a simple Google search to learn that. Leaders of BLM are self-described “trained Marxists.”

Of course, the statement that ‘black lives matter’ is inarguable. Where would we be as a nation without the lives of Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr, just to name a few great black lives?

But it is safe to say that Marxist regimes do not believe in the rights of ANY individuals. They believe in the absolute power of the state. Marxism does not espouse the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Marxists regimes crush liberty and anyone who tries to declare it.  Yet many professional sports organizations and athletes, perhaps unwittingly, condone Marxism and the slavery which ensues. Nike products including NBA uniforms, for example, are made by slave labour in Communist China. Sports executives talk up social justice in America while outsourcing labour to Chinese concentration camps.

It is so sad to see athletes disrespectfully kneel during our national anthem. America certainly has flaws and we have a long way to go to expunge racism in our country. However, our founding documents declared that we are all created equal with unalienable rights that come from our creator and this placed us on a self-correcting course that ultimately eradicated slavery.  As Lincoln stated in his Gettysburg Address, many gave their “last full measure of devotion” for freedom and equality under the law.

We need to stand together in solidarity to make our great country a more perfect union so that, again in the words of Lincoln: “this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom and that government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth.”
